De-Stress? What does that mean?

It is such an amazing feeling to see our ideas come to life and put a smile on other women's faces. When first asking women what they want to see at our events, we had an overwhelming response for relaxation and de-stressing. So, that is exactly what we did for our second night out! Again, we worked with local businesses to piece together our evening. We provided a serene setting with low lighting and lavender oils burning with a background of yoga music. As women entered, we gave them lavender oil to put on their temples. It is great for relieving stress and headaches, also if placed behind the ear, it helps subdue motion sickness. Craig at Essentials for Health was kind enough to donate this and other helpful oils for the evening. He is a WEALTH of information! Check him out at www.essentialsforhealthpa.com.

As ladies mingled they were also treated to a 5 minute chair massage and/or 10 minute reflexology session. We had Leeann Perry, Jackie Bender and Katie Bowman that were so awesome to donate their time and services! Business information available, just contact us!

I think they are feeling relaxed!

Colleen Pelc brought her homemade scrubs for the women to try and of course they fell in love with them. They make your skin feel silky soft and she offers different scents! Definitely something to check out for the upcoming holidays! Her personal business started with "I want that," and she turned it into "I can make that!" Congratulations to her! You can find her at www.facebook.com/CreatedByColleen

Next we played a bingo game and an icebreaker where we got to scream and laugh. By the second time, everyone was out of their shell and screaming away. Both of these things are great releases of stress.

We closed with relaxing yoga poses and meditation by Hazel Weighley. Women are natural multi-taskers. It is essential to our health to take a few moments EACH DAY to bring our brain, emotions and heart to a halt. Find a dark room, close your eyes and let go, for at least 5 minutes. You can do this for YOURSELF!

Thank you so much for all the women that came out to enjoy the evening with us! Our next event is Dec. 6 Holiday Cheer!
